Notice about Google Assistant

Effective June 2023, Google has announced the discontinuation of “Conversational Actions”, which is the voice-recognition technology used by DroneMobile to interface with Google Assistant. Therefore, sending DroneMobile voice commands through Google Assistant-enabled devices and software will no longer be available after June 2023. At this time, the DroneMobile Team does not have an Estimated Release Date for an equivalent solution for Google Assistant.

This announcement does not affect the usability of the DroneMobile App and App Widget on Android smartphones and smart watches. As an alternative for voice control specifically, Android OS users can use the Amazon Alexa app to send voice commands to their vehicles.
